Rhinocerous Suit
This
two person suit is amazing to see. Already being used
in a circus traveling the UK, we hear the crowd gasps
when it's led out on a leash by a little girl. Inside
there are fans, lights and controls and a welded aluminum
frame. Animation includes automated blinks, ear wiggles
and operator controlled head turns. The final suit weighed
just over 100 pounds. Not too bad! The suit performers
wear harnesses inside which distributes the weight evenly.

David Letterman "Late Show" Bear Suit
Created for the "Late Show with David Letterman" in 2005. The look if better than a mascot without the expense of a fully animatronic "Hollywood" suit. The fur was tough to find. It lays down nicely and stretches enough. There is no muscle suit with this model, so it looks a little slim in the body. |
