Gorgeous Macaw with the traditional coloring of a blue & gold macaw. All hand dyed chicken feathers mounted on a strong, stretch, fabric backing allow amazing movement to go on over the years. Silicone facial wrap goes between the dual moving beaks to add to the realism. People always look closer when they see this fellow talk. Mouth talks, neck bows, looks side to side and cocks it's head at various angles. Great for live performers with magic or comedy acts. We've also seen retailers who wanted to greet people coming in the store. Collectors like to program this bird with a bunch of jokes. Every time someone brings him to life, the animatron has something (random) to say.

Animatronic Blue & Gold Macaw: Head lift up and down, side to side, the beak opens/closes (one axis-lower jaw), the tongue goes in and out, and a DC motor powers the wings to flap. Removable rod comes supports the model from the rear. Tail feathers can dress out this support. Multiple cables come out the rear as well, and usually dress along the support rod. Shown here with the in flight wings, there are also a pair of "at rest" wings that attach.
